Invoicing and payments

Seiverkot invoices for the electricity distribution service and the electricity tax, which is remitted to the state. The billing for the distribution service is based on actual hourly consumption, and your invoice shows the amount of electricity you have used.

In addition to the distribution service invoice, your electricity supplier bills you for the electricity energy you have consumed. So, you receive two invoices for your electricity usage. Your electricity distribution company is determined by your place of residence, while you are free to choose and compare electricity suppliers. The electricity distribution company Seiverkot operates in the central area of Seinäjoki. You can check your local distribution company on the Energy Authority’s website.

Our billing is based on actual hourly consumption, and your invoice shows the amount of electricity you have used. You can choose a billing interval of either one month or three months.

If you wish, you can change the billing interval by contacting our customer service.

Payment methods for consumer customers

Consumer customers can choose their preferred billing method from the following options: a paper invoice with a payment slip, an e-invoice, the digital mail service Kivra, or a direct debit.

Payment methods for companies

Business customers can choose to receive either a paper invoice with a payment slip sent by post or an electronic invoice (e-invoice). An e-invoice is an invoice that is sent and received in digital format.
